- Hybrid linear actuators
The stepper motor-based linear actuator range is an effective solution for converting a rotary motion into a linear one more easily than with conventional methods. This conversion of rotary to linear motion is unique because it takes place directly in the motor. This eliminates the need for belts, gears, racks and other mechanical components.
Using a special manufacturing process, the plastic nut is integrated into the rotor as well as an ACME threaded spindle made of stainless steel. This makes the motor much quieter and more durable than the V-thread and bronze nut configurations common in other actuators, and it is maintenance-free. An additional feature is the preloaded bearing of the nut to support the load, which - unlike all other designs - does not protrude from the motor.
Features
- Shock force 2 to 2200 N
- Linear resolution 1.5 to 127 µm per step
- Step angle 1.8° or 0.9°.
- Compact design
Options
- Teflon coating
- Encoder
- Limit switch
- Spindle adaptations available on request
Captive (C): Anti-rotation piston rod for heavy duty use with short strokes
External Linear (EL): The acme screw is mounted in the stepper motor. The external nut moves the desired stroke. Optionally also available with backlash-absorbing nuts
Non Captive (NC): Stepper motor with hollow shaft and integrated nut. The spindle ends can be customised to the customer's specifications
