Linear Rail System LRS

The LRS linear rail system uses a threaded spindle to provide controlled positioning along the axis of a stable linear unit. The LRS consists of a fixed base with a load bearing carriage that travels along a custom made extruded aluminium rail of various lengths. The carriage is a small platform with plain bearings that travels along this specifically configured profile. The leads and shaft ends of the spindle drive used in the system can be matched to virtually any type of rotational power generating power source.

For optimum performance, the system can be equipped with size 17 hybrid linear accutators, which are provided in a variety of resolutions - from 1.524 µm per step to 48.768 µm per step - with force up to 222 N. If higher performance is required, Hybrid Double Stack linear actuators provide size 17 (15.8 µmm to 0.127 mm per step) and force up to 337 N.
